Detox Salad

This salad is loaded with nutrients to help your body detox and you won’t feel hungry. Check out all the benefits of the ingredients:

Kale & Cabbage – loaded with vitamins, magnesium, anti-oxidants

Broccoli – has phytonutrients which have liver health benefits. Make sure to use the stem which is full of nutritional benefits.
Cilantro  & Garlic – helps rid body of heavy metal toxins
Daikon Radish – natural diuretic, anti-inflammatory, helps with digestion, bone health
Cucumbers –  are 95 percent water, keeping the body hydrated while helping the body eliminate toxins
Avocado – healthy fat, contains more potassium than a banana
Lemon – helps to flush toxins from your body
Ginger – aids in digestion, may help boost metabolism to enhance the detox process
Cayenne – increases lymphatic and digestive rhythms
Black Sesame Seeds – anti-aging, healthier skin and bones, heart health , helps protect the liver
Oregano –  immune support
Olive Oil and Lemon combination – help with detoxification
Always try to use organic ingredients and make sure to wash them.
Serves 4-6

Salad:
2 cups Purple Cabbage, finely sliced
2 cups Broccoli, flowers and stem sliced
2 cups Kale, shredded
1 cup Cilantro, chopped
1 Red Pepper, diced
1 cup Daikon Radish, sliced thin
1 Cucumber, sliced (use the peel if organic)
2 Avocados, peeled and diced (if not serving immediately hold off and slice before serving)
2 TBS. Black Sesame Seeds
Dash of Himalayan Pink Salt
Freshly ground Black Pepper to taste

Dressing:
½ cup freshly squeezed Lemon juice
½ cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 tsp. fresh Ginger, peeled and minced or grated
¼ tsp. Oregano
Pinch of Cayenne
Dash of Himalayan Pink Salt
Freshly ground Black Pepper to taste

Put all salad ingredients in large bowl except Black Sesame Seeds (if not serving immediately don’t add Avocados)
Whisk Dressing ingredients in small bowl
Drizzle Dressing over salad and toss gently until well mixed
Fold in Avocados before serving
Top with Black Sesame Seeds
